Tim Lundholm is based in Portland, Oregon. He enjoys time in the wilderness and drawing things seen there.
I was born in Sacramento, CA in 1970. I went to school in Chico and Eugene, and studied printmaking with Craig Spillman in Eugene. I completed the Fine Woodworking program at College of the Redwoods.
I’ve always been drawing and drawn to work with my hands. I am proficient in wood and steelwork, but nothing has been as rewarding and challenging as drawing, which has been a constant. I like to go back and forth between abstraction, landscape, and figure.
I love to do commissioned work, and I like to custom fit a drawing into the space where it will live. Seeing a space a drawing is to go into is as important to me as collaborating its content with the people who inhabit that space. With commissioned work I can go beyond the black and white landscapes and abstraction and include color and even wood and/or steel, depending on the project. If it can be imagined in ink, paper, wood and steel, I can do it. Please contact Pero Design to inquire about commissioned work.
